Starting from Delhi, your itinerary will take you to the Corbett National park and Pangot in the Himalayas. Eventually you will find yourself in the regal lands of Rajasthan. In between, you will get a chance to soak in history and romance at Agra or explore the ravines of the rugged Chambal. And finally, to Kanha – the tiger land that inspired Rudyard Kipling.

That’s right, you can actually spot and photograph so many bird species on the Birding Tour.
These include a variety of pheasants across the Himalayas. With their colorful plumage, gleaming feathers, and flourishing tails, the pheasants are pretty elusive. You will often have to wait to hear the mating calls of these birds and then wait for even more for these birds to step out of the bushes and shrubs. The Koklass, Monal, Western Tragopan, White-crested Khaleej and Cheer are just some of the pheasant species waiting to greet you.
And who knows, while waiting for the almost monogamous Koklass or Cheer, you might spot the Himalayan Quail, a bird that went extinct over 140 years ago. Many extinct species have been known to make surprising and pleasing comebacks.
Along the way, there will be plenty of opportunities to interact with the local communities, enjoy local cuisines and participate in their traditions and festivals.
